Gero has been a private equity investor for over 20 years and has invested over $5bn in equity capital. Before co-founding New Private Equity, Gero was a Partner at Hg, the largest software-focused European private equity firm, and led the build-out of the team as co-head of North America. Prior to joining Hg, Gero was a Managing Director at CVC, where he was one of two Europeans that moved to New York to support the firm’s expansion into North America.

‍Gero graduated from WHU (Beisheim School of Management) and participated in the exchange programs with HEC Lausanne and the Olin School at Washington University. Gero enjoys reading, playing the guitar, running, and spending time with his wife and two children.

Francesco has driven value creation for over 25 years, successfully leading more than 300 programs that delivered significant EBITDA improvements for industrial and technology companies. Before co-founding New Private Equity, he served as Partner & Managing Director at AlixPartners, where he was Global Head of Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) and Innovation at the strategy- and operations-focused global consulting firm. At AlixPartners, Francesco pioneered several innovations, including two software platforms that digitized professional services methodologies, enhancing the firm’s ability to execute effectively.

Francesco holds a degree in Economia e Commercio from the Catholic University in Milan. In his personal time, he enjoys kite surfing, playing tennis, reading extensively, and exploring his passion for innovation. A former professional baseball player, he brings  a competitive and disciplined mindset to both his professional and personal pursuits.

Suruchi has been a private equity investor for over 10 years. Before joining New Private Equity, Suruchi was a principal at Hg, the software-focused European private equity firm, as part of the founding team in North America. She has also spent several years investing in a variety of sectors at the Carlyle Group and Riverside Partners, and began her career at Goldman Sachs.

Suruchi holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Finance & Economics from New York University. In her spare time, Suruchi enjoys reading (primarily fiction), traveling, and trying to improve her amateur guitar skills.

Henry brings 10+ years of private equity experience, having invested over $3.5bn in equity capital, while also holding executive roles in private equity backed companies. Before joining NPE, Henry was part of the North American buildout team of Hg, the largest software-focused European private equity firm. At Hg, Henry was involved in the firm's investments in Gen II Fund Services, Prophix, GTreasury, Revalize and Nitrogen. Henry also worked as the Head of Strategy for Nitrogen, one of Hg's portfolio companies. Prior to this, Henry was part of the direct PE team at CDPQ. Prior to CDPQ, Henry worked at Fisher Lynch Capital, where he was involved in the firm's investments in SonicWall, McAfee, Nets A/S, Solera, Multiplan, ERT, and Allegro.

Henry earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia - McIntire School of Commerce, and participated in an exchange program with the National University of Singapore (NUS). Henry is fluent in French and in English.
